FREIGHTDOTCOM is an accredited SARS agent and is exceptionally well equipped to handle the complex technical aspects of the customs clearing procedures for both import and export cargo in South Africa, supported by the experience and guidance of Francois van Wyk as an ex-customs official.

Our customs clearance services include the preparation of documents and/or electronic submissions, the calculation and payment on behalf of the client for duties and facilitating communication between the importer/exporter and governmental authorities.

We are proud to have a deferment account with SARS adding to our credibility as a customs clearance agent and we are licenced with OR Tambo International airport, Cape Town and Durban ports as well as Johannesburg inland port.

• Pre-clearance:
At FREIGHTDOTCOM we understand the importance of avoiding delays and the associated storage and demurrage costs. That is why we have customs professionals in place to help avoid these pitfalls wherever possible.

• After-hours and Weekend Clearing:
Keeping in line with our commitment to service excellence, our dedicated team are there to submit clearances after hours and over weekends, regardless of the size or nature of the consignment.
